This policy explains what data Gathersense holds, why we hold it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain words on purpose. This is a launch draft; the binding version is supplied by counsel before publish.
Who we are
Gathersense is a legal AI platform operated by AGByte, based in Amsterdam. For questions about this policy or your data, write to support@gathersense.com.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you request a demo or contact us: your name, work email, organisation, role, and anything you choose to tell us about your work.
For customers, the platform processes the documents and matters you upload. That content is yours. We process it to provide the service and for no other purpose.
How we use it
We use your contact details to reply, to set up a working session, and to keep you informed about the service you asked about.
We use customer content only to run the platform for you: to review documents, answer questions inside a matter, draft from your templates, and keep the record. The AI never trains on your data.
Where your data lives
Gathersense is EU-based. For enterprise customers we deploy dedicated, single-tenant environments, with case and contract data resident on the infrastructure the customer chooses. The data that must stay in region stays in region.
How long we keep it
We keep contact details for as long as we are in conversation and a reasonable period after. Customer content is kept for the life of the engagement and removed on request under the terms of the agreement.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it removed. Write to support@gathersense.com and we will respond within the time the law allows.
